I saw this on someone's Facebook status today and thought "This is so hot!"

Now that's some good love 'cause wine is mighty tasty, no? LOL I digress... But in my opinion, God's mercy and grace is so sweet, everything we need to about love and romance is found in Him, hence the following:
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves." ~1 Corinthians 13:4-7
There's the bar, anything below that is falling short and pretty much, unacceptable as far as I'm concerned. No one needs to ever inquire what love is or how it is defined because God gave it to us straight, no chaser (that was a wine joke...haha...corny, I know.). It's so simple, yet we seem to have such a hard time understanding it. Fact is, love doesn't maliciously hurt and it doesn't keep bringing up old drama that has been squashed.
We may say, "But my partner lives up to everything it says, but s/he doesn't trust me as far as they can see me." Guess what? The bar's been set. We can either have it all or we can have a portion of what we are supposed to have in our mates. The S.N.O.B. in me opts for the first choice. :)
